Mike Francis

This will be Mike's second year with Velocity.

Mike coached the FWU Storm '88 (boys) for 3 years--last year finished  3rd in Premier 1, 2006.
He was the assistant coach of the NWN Allegra '90 from 2004-2006.
Mike has been coaching since he was eighteen and playing as long as he can remember.
In high school he played for Emerald City F. C. and won three state championships.
Mike began collegiate soccer  with San Diego State and finished with Endicott College in Massachusetts.

Mike is an active coach, enthusiastic, and inspiring.  He never "goes negative."  He just wants players to try their hardest.

Ben Dragavon
assistant coach & goalie coach

bulletBen plays for the Sounders as Goalie.
bulletThe Monroe, Wash. native finished his career as one of the top net minders in Viking history. Earning GNAC All League honors in each of his collegiate seasons, Dragavon was the GNAC Freshman of the Year in 2002. In 2002 and 2003 he was selected to the GNAC All-League First Team, and was a member of the GNAC All-League Second Team his junior year in 2004.
bulletDragavon is WWU's all time leader in career shutouts with 18, and is ranked second in the schools history in games played with 76. His career 1.38 goals against average is third best in school history.

Vadim only subs on occasion for Velocity, but we like him, like him, yes we do.

Vadim played professionally with the Portland Timbers.
Vadim played under Cliff McCrath at Seattle Pacific University for four years.

Vadim will act as Assistant Coach for Velocity next season!
